The Global Giving Collective (GGC)™ by WOC empowers its members to amplify their generosity, unique knowledge, and financial resources through a unified philanthropic endeavor.
WOC endeavors to redefine the philanthropist archetype of being white, affluent, or having one’s name etched into the side of a building. Philanthropy is so much more, and we embrace the fact that women of color stand on the shoulders of giants - the women of color who have come before us in the philanthropic spirit whether formally recognized or not - who have changed our communities for the better. We will carry on this rich tradition and do the same.
By pooling our WOC Community’s diverse philanthropic resources together, the GGC will have a tremendous impact on the social good, and on empowering each of us in our philanthropic journeys.

Getting Started
You must be a current member of WOC to participate* in the giving circle.
Membership in the Global Giving Collective is an additional $350.00, with $275.00 going to the selected charitable endeavors and $75.00 to administrative costs.
Global Giving Collective members will identify charitable organizations working to support and celebrate women and girls of color and other causes that are important to members.

Global Giving Collective membership is on an annual (12-month) basis.

Global Giving Collective members will make a one-time contribution of $350.00 per year for the annual membership.
This covers administrative fees and $275.00 of this amount will go towards the charities selected by the membership to receive funds each year.
Funds will be distributed annually, with the selection and voting process taking place during the annual WOC Symposium. -
$275.00 of the membership contribution is tax-deductible.

Collective giving allows people of various backgrounds and shared values to come together philanthropically.
It allows a community of like-minded individuals to deepen their understanding of giving, network, and make an even greater financial impact.

You must be both an active WOC member and giving circle member to partake in any Global Giving Collective initiatives and events.

Yes. Global Giving Collective membership is strictly limited to active members of WOC.
